Awww, my grandmothers, who always pegged me as a Yankee, would be so disappointed. My Mamere had a faint NOLA accent while my Granmom, born and raised in Mississippi, had a sweet, lilting Designing Women twang-light. I'm generic. Blame my parents for raising me in the Midwest.

My parents, by the way? Met on this date (11/2) in 1963. Wow. Two of my best high-school friends began to fancy one another on this date as well, in 1991, and are also happily married to this day. All single folk out there head somewhere tonight - love is in the air for folks directly associated with me!

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

Yeah ... I'm a little disturbed that three of the five people this randomly generated are folks to whom I'm RELATED ...

Dear Cupid,

This year, I've had my ups and downs in the love department.

Blathering, Emerybored and I went skinny dipping in lake Michigan and now we are cold all the time.
I got crabs from Roguemynock... so I picked them out and put them in an envelope and returned them.
I was going to get a tattoo of Cardigangirl’s name but chickened out and got a puppy instead.

So as you can see it's been a hectic year. Can you please make Littlegreen83 hook up with me this Valentine's day?

Sincerely,
ordinarywhirled

Jealous by [info]littlegreen83's answer to this quiz (Jason Bateman), I rushed to take it, hoping for the same response and praying to all higher powers that I would not wind up with Kirk "Jesus Loves Me, This I Know" Cameron. I'm fairly pleased with my results. He is the ORIGINAL Teen Wolf to Jason's follow-up, after all. And I did buy his biography, in hardcover, the day it came out.

Geography Master
You scored 100% Accuracy!
All bow before the geography genius. Will you be our master? Will you lead us, all powerful geography master?

You definitely know your stuff. Colorado and Wyoming didn't get you confused, and you can find the North East states in your sleep. You were probably always wrecking the curve in school. Even if you cheated by using a map, this is still a decent score.

This state naming skill of yours will definitely get your far in life. There are myriads of times where it is important to know the shape of the states. Ok, I lied, it doesn't really matter. But it does show that you know your stuff. And knowing stuff is good.

Now, I LOVE "Accidentally in Love" by the Counting Crows. It's one of my favorite pop songs from the past few years, it lifts my spirits and gets my feet tapping regardless of when it might spin on the iTunes. I even forgive Adam Duritz for looking like a complete Sideshow-Bob-meets-Michael-Stipe weirdo at the Oscars while performing it. It's a fantastic, lovely, pop ditty. But. It was written for Shrek 2, yes? At the very least it appeared on the Shrek 2 soundtrack. So is the line "Just get yourself inside her" really appropriate? Or am I just hearing that more graphically than it has been intended? Probably. Maybe they mean inside her palace. If you know what I mean by "palace." And I'm sure that you do.

And then there's... this ...  )
