For the fourth time since Nipplegate, the Super Bowl (REGISTERED TRADEMARK) half-time show consisted of a safe, aging rocker (McCartney, Stones - who they STILL had to bleep, Prince, Tom Petty). Petty looked like he had one foot in the grave, but he's always looked like that, so relatively speaking? He doesn't look so bad, though I wish he'd donned the Mad Hatter getup. Probably too controversial for primetime since Louis Carroll had a raging opiates addiction.

And 3 out of 4 songs from Full Moon Fever. Dude.

Commercials? Boring me so far, even the Anheuser ones. My favorite was the Sobe lizards doing the "Thriller" dance. Because anything "Thriller" dance kills. Always.

Cold still keeps on keeping on, but I feel a bit better now than I did Friday. And Mr. Whirled made it back from his trip midday Friday, and had to put up with my snorfles and sneezes all weekend.
